About Alpha-Beta Communications
The Alpha-Beta Group was founded in 1990 and federally incorporated as the Alpha-Beta Communications Group Inc. in January 1996 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We are located in Ottawa's west end, are a 100% owned and operated Canadian communications company and are covered by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board of Ontario.
Our Services
As one of Ottawa's leading wireless communication companies specialized in wireless infra-structure development, we do everything from the design of large wide-area networks to the complete site development of communication sites. We also provide site management services for sites and infrastructure.
We install communication, microwave and broadcasting towers as well as other steel structures. This includes all types of antennas, transmission lines, waveguides and other appurtenances found on towers and roof-tops.
We are well qualified to deal with Industry Canada and local municipalities in obtaining all required permits, approvals and zoning changes for a wide range of site types, from as green-field sites to roof-top developments.
We provide complete turn-key integration for wireless communication systems from Low Band frequencies to Microwave frequencies. We design, manufacture, install and service surveillance support structures for security applications as in camera towers and monopoles. These are designed for perimeter security and roof-top surveillance systems of parking lots, correctional institutions, nuclear facilities and other high-security installations.
We teach courses on "Working at Heights" and "Tower Rescue", site grounding courses on Motorola's R56 and give guest lectures at the local Algonquin college in Ottawa.
We do consulting work, RF Compliance Reports, Propagation studies and others.
